Accessibility Statement
Published in line with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), applicable from 28 June 2025, and the Latvian transposition thereof.
Our commitment
SIA “MIGLAI” is committed to making Migla accessible to as many people as possible, including users with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive disabilities. We aim to align the service with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA, which is the technical reference standard under the European Accessibility Act for digital services.
Conformance status
Migla is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the accessibility standard.
Known limitations that we are actively working on:
- Some generation controls rely on visual previews that may not yet expose equivalent text alternatives to assistive technologies.
- Motion and transition effects in the interface can be reduced via your operating system's “reduce motion” setting, which we respect, but not all animations have been audited yet.
- Colour contrast in the dark theme has been prioritised; the light theme is still being reviewed against WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.4.3.
- AI-generated media produced by the service does not include automatic alt-text or captions. Users remain responsible for adding descriptions when redistributing outputs.
Compatibility with assistive technology
Migla is designed to work with the latest versions of common browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) and the screen readers shipped with modern operating systems (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack). The service is a web application that requires JavaScript; it does not rely on any proprietary plug-ins.
Feedback and contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Migla. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need content in an alternative format, please contact us at support@migla.io. We aim to respond to accessibility requests within 14 days.
Enforcement procedure
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Latvian consumer protection authority, Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības centrs (PTAC), Brīvības iela 55, Riga, LV-1010, Latvia, www.ptac.gov.lv, which is the designated enforcement body for the European Accessibility Act in Latvia.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on the basis of a self-assessment carried out by SIA “MIGLAI”. It was last reviewed in April 2026 and will be updated whenever the service changes in ways that affect accessibility.
